Last night I posted a status that read, “I will never understand why a complete stranger would ever care so much about me to make decisions for me that they will never, ever, have to deal with.” Since then, I have had several people comment, message, text me asking if I was ok. Yes, I am fine, it was in regards to Wendy Davis’ filibuster in Texas. BUT, look at how many people reached out to me asking me if I was ok, because some stranger was going to make a decision for me that they would NEVER have to deal with. That is what taking choice away from women does. That is why Wendy Davis stood for 13 hours, talking non-stop, without resting on anything, without going to the bathroom.

You know who that is?
That’s fucking Senator Wendy Davis (D-TX), who is currently in the middle of filibustering a bill that would effectively close down most abortion clinics in the state of Texas.
The only way to block the bill would be to stall it, and the only way to stall it is to filibuster it.
Which means my girl Wendy has to speak non-stop. Without pausing to eat or go to the bathroom, or leaning on anything. She started at 11:18am CDT today and must go until midnight.
That’s about 13 hours in total.

what if the reason the creators of monsters inc. waited 12 years to make monsters university was because the kids who watched monsters inc. of ages 5, 6, and 7 years are now 17, 18, or 19 and off to college the same goes for toy story 3 and how andy was giving up his toys (his childhood) and moving on off to college as well? what if they wanted to say good bye to the child that loved their movies properly?
